Mere Baap Pehle Aap melody is terrible

obviously, the melody of Priyadarshan’s films are still reel under Pritam’s overshadow the composer was at helm of the director’s previous flicks like Garam Masala , Bhagam Bhag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, which probably explains the conspicuous similarity between MBPA’s Ishq subhanallah and Garam Masala’s titular runaway success. Though the combined vocal efforts of Alisha Chinai, Neeraj Sridhar and rapper Bob are most admirable, lack of originality ruins this one. DJ Amyth’s remixed avatar of Ishq is a racier, techno-overload potion and doesn’t do anything for its patient listener.Husky charmer Sunidhi Chauhan gets into offensive mode to do justice to the equally fiery Shamma Shamma. Its hounding, thumping, dhinchak beats tied with rude lyrics are calculatingly in-your-face and decidedly off-putting.

no matter which after this would seem like a greeting relief. And so Udit Narayan and Shreya Ghosal’s breezy rendition of the honey-glazed pop-flavoured love song, Maine hawa ke paron mein is just that. In another mellowed-down version of the same, Shaan replaces Udit Narayan to blend in his brand of sugariness and does a good job of it.A fraction of its gap strain is reminiscent of A R Rahman’s poignant theme for Mani Ratnam’s Bombay and later evokes memories of Zubeidaa’s [Images] Mehendi hai rachnewali (by Rahman again). obviously, Rahman looms large over to produce average results in the Alka Yagnik and Shaan-rendered Jaana hai tujhko, a archetypal wedding number.

Alternately lacklustre and terrible, Mere Baap Pehle Aap is not the class of folder which will find itself on anyone’s location list.

following the let go of her first Bollywood movie Jannat, Sonal Chauhan has become the new blue-eyed girl of the Bhatt site. Sify.com catches up with this fresh heartthrob of Bollywood during her breezy visit to Kolkata for the promotion of her film.Till the shooting for Jannat started, I did not have the remotest idea that I will take up the theater. I was into part time modelling and wanted to become a journalist. But never thought I will land up being a heroine in a Hindi film. Kunal Deshmukh, the director of Jannat, saw me at a eating place in Mumbai. He came to me and asked for my contact number. In a week, I was on the floors killing. I don`t have formal training in acting. But now that I have made up my mind to become an actor, I feel that a formal training is very much compulsory. I will soon join an acting school.

let know us about your character in Jannat?

My nature Zoya is not a typical 20th century girl. She knows her limits and know how to react in different situation. Unlike a characteristic girlfriend, she refuse gifts from her boyfriend Arjun (Emraan Hashmi) and prefers shopping with her pay.
