Virgin superior Richard Branson is eyeing yet one more record — this time by becoming the first human being to marry a couple in breathing space, on the airline’s maiden sub-orbital trip next time.

“We have had two bookings connecting marriage, one to get wedded in space and the other for the couple to have their honeymoon in space. It is likely that Richard could obtain a licence to behavior the marriage,” a lecturer for Virgin Galactic was quoted by Daily Mail as saw. The 58-year-old billionaire has by now officiated at one wedding on a Virgin Atlantic trip from San Francisco to Las Vegas last time.

Though the names of the couple who are to tie the knot in space have not been disclosed, the one who booked in for a honeymoon on the £100,000-a-ticket maiden flight are Virgin Galactic consultant George Whitesides and his new partner Loretta Hidalgo. The Virgin Galactic space scheme is moving ahead at a theatrical rate and clients will take part in the first test flights this summer. So distant, 200 people have paid for the sub-space knowledge.

UK’s princess Beatrice, whose spouse Dave Clark works in the advertising section of Virgin Galactic, has said she plans to be the first Royal in breathing space. Even wheelchair-bound lecturer Stephen Hawking has rewarded for trips.
